Aapje Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 What is the 5th season, next to spring, summer, autumn, and winter?
1CGS LukeFF Posted June 4, 2025 Author 1CGS Posted June 4, 2025 A transition from one season to the next? Sorry, don't have the script in front of me right now.

Perhaps early/snowless winter, like the WW1 map has (the only other map with 5 seasons)? @LukeFF I understand the screenshots in the video are from the actual map and no longer the testing map (Korea version of Lapino)? 1
Aapje Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Yeah, heavy/mild winter seemed the most logical to me too, but I prefer an actual answer instead of speculation. And surely most of the screenshots/clips from the video are from the real map. Lots of it looks quite different from the test map.
[CPT]Crunch Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Even the clear of cloud day scenes look super dark, can we get some mid day sunshine and green forests views? Tired of black forests and near night conditions under any kind of cloud in mid day, don't get me started on the haze. If it's all so good don't shade and haze it all out. That's not any better than what we already have. 1 3

A lot of cultures have five or six seasons, some only have a couple of seasons - what makes sense depends a lot one what part of the world you are in. In Russia and Canada it likely usually makes sense to break winter up (with an extra month for late winter/early spring). AFAIK - Korea traditionally used a system for 24 seasons. Might be a bit much to ask of the developers though!

Talisman Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Looking very good indeed! Many thanks for the update. The excitement is building. Happy landings, Talisman
