1Sascha Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) Since selling my last GPU on here worked pretty well (and surprisingly quickly), I thought I'd give it another go with my current one. It's a Gigabyte RTX 4070 Super Gaming OC which is slightly over seven months old at this point - date of purchase was Sept 11th 2024. Bought it from German HW-vendor "Galaxus" and the invoice will go to the new owner with anything else that came with the card - which wasn't much besides the packaging and the (never used) power-adapter. I did extend the warranty by registering it, though I'm not sure this will be honored for 2nd-hand owners. In any case, the card is still under "regular" warranty until Sept 11th 2026 - with the extended one it would be until Sept 2027. EDIT to correct myself: The card came with a three year warranty, extendable to four years via registration. So it's still under warranty until Sept 2027, no matter what - and possibly until Sept 2028. I haven't received my replacement card yet and since I don't have an iGPU, I couldn't take more meaningful pics than of the installed card and the packaging for now. SOLD! Card OCs pretty well to just under 3000 MHz if you push it, but outside of VR-sessions, I've mostly used it slightly undervolted to take it easy on temps and power-draw. And here's a short YT-clip showing the card working: Performance-wise, I'd say this card is still all you'll need in 2025 for 1440p or lower. I did run IL-2 VR with this GPU on a Quest 3 and it managed to produce very stable results in offline-mode at 80 Hz with quite a bit of eye-candy enabled. 72 Hz works even better but 90 Hz is a bit too much for this chip. Reason I want to upgrade is I really want to do 90 Hz VR.. I've also been playing a lot of Baldur's Gate 3 lately and on 1440p and with the card undervolted I'm getting stable 90 FPS. That's with just DLAA (no DLSS) and everything cranked to Ultra. With the card OCed or on its default profile and the game's FPS-limiter disabled, I'm seeing FPS highs of 130 to 150. I couldn't find current ebay-prices for this exact model but seeing how the ones I did monitor brought between 540 and up to 600 EUR for less well-appointed models, I'm not going to just give it away. However: I do want to sell it and I don't want to make a killing off fellow IL-2 enthusiasts, so: My price is €500 €450 including shipping to Germany - anything outside of Germany would be a little more expensive to cover the added shipping-cost. Payable via Paypal only. This is a private sale/offer so no refunds/returns etc. I am not a professional HW-dealer, so any trouble with the card post-sale would have to be taken up with Gigabyte and/or the HW-store where I bought it.
