Enemy icons on the map in SP

Hello,

I am a new player in the world of GB. Exclusively SP in PWCG. I have just one question. How do I set the game so that when I open the map with the I key, I need only see the icon of my plane. I still see the enemy icons and that is not desirable for me. I will be glad for any advice. Settings in the game - Expert

Thank you very much, but no mod will remove the enemy icon from the map. I like the option in IL2 CloD. I open the map, right click and remove everything from the map that I don't want to see.

You can change that on Realism Settings for the career, no? Unless it is a PWCG thing.

 

It's been ages since I last saw an enemy om my map, so I don't remember exactly how to remove it.

I am using these settings in general, normally with these settings are no icons shown:

[Dauntless]

Use the above but turn on navigation markers to see your self.

So the problem will be hidden in PWCG. If I start the default career mode I only see my icon on the map. If I start a mission created in PWCG I see icons of both friends and enemies on the map.

And I don't see anywhere in PWCG how to influence this setting.

To delele all friendly and enemy on the map, but leave your aircraft still visible on the map, use this mod:

Works in PWCG too as it basically paints over those icons on the image file.

how do i install this mod?

It's set up for JSGME, but if you're not using that program then you can install it manually.  Install the map.dds.  The install path is:   data/swf/cache/il2/map.dds

 

Or, just copy the data folder over your data folder.
