Bristol 2 seater gunner bug in VR

Reported this on steam, one of the developers asked for videos of the issue, replied but no answer or if they had a look.

Issue is, there is a bug with the turret gunner clipping though the pilots seat, cockpit, head etc when tracking an enemy that is in front and below me as i'm Turing to engage. 

I recorded what was going on although very large files I uploaded to youtube.  I had difficulties in pausing to record it, although captured the recording at the last moment it clearly shows the gun clipping the cockpit, and unfortunately video isn't very good with a flashing screen, but it is clear to see 

 

 

I have manned the turret gun my self and I cannot clip the way the AI does, there is a block preventing me to aim below the front wings and cockpit as there should be, only the AI has the ability to clip it

I have seen a similar ability for Fe-2b AI gunners to fire through propellor arc, below the top wing and close to and just above the pilot's head. I've noticed other 2 seater gunners shooting through the tail of their own plane. There seems to be no damage to these planes.

It's not a bug only happens in VR.  

I'm negative about the possibllity of fixing it.  Because FC is developed by a third party developer, and they seems to have stopped development on il2GB.

Could you please provide some screenshots that illustrate the exact issue? The team, including @Han, is not quite sure where the problem may lie.

Yes, in some situations that is possible, unfortunately. To cut the limit even more to avoid that is probably not the best idea.
