Radar and Radio Navigation System Germany 43/45:

 

-for Daylight German SP Missions from mid 1943 - 1945, current version for Rheinland Map

-usage of defaullt Artillery Spotting Flash Script as "Radio Frequency Selector" with 8x8=64 Buttons

-12 selectable Radar Zones for Germany and eastern parts of Netherlands / Belgium

Target plane information:

-Grid position (Subtitle)

-sometimes rough information about altitude (high / low)

-heading / range to target displayed with modified AFN-2 Indicator for long/medium ranges (+-5km resolution)

-optional additional ranges to target 20km, 15km, 10km, 7km(subtitle) if the players's plane is linked to a group proximity MCUs (5 minutes work in ME)

-15 selectable Beacons for Radio Navigation

-3 different Pause options to deactivate the Flash script for 30s, 5min, 15min to pause the flight for a break or for cruise flights with time acceleration)

-Modular design with the possibility:

   -to add / connect further Radar Zones / Beacons

   -to to test new designs of radar / navigation systems

   -for usage on other maps, especially Normandy

 

-easy basic installation: mission to be opened in ME and Radar System Group to be loaded from file.

 

-Requirements for missions design:

-mission without additional flash scripts, without additional MCU Play Media.

-Existing beacons in mission: either deativated by setting the beacon channel to 0 or by connecting existing beacons to the Frequency selector of the System.

 

-Mission generation: Downloads see second post

-by Easy Mission Generator by @SYN_Vander (only modified Generic Template required / already working)

-additional EMG Mod with whole map fronts area WIP / ca.70%

It's amazing what variations you "carve out" of the, since RoF known Artillery Spotting Grid. I'll try it out when I get the time beside my current ME project. Looks like a great feature in apropriately designed missions.

You can use it for already existing EMG Rheinland Missions.

The plane type of player's plane shall have a FuG16Z available.

You have just to change the beacon channel of the existing Beacons with text editor by search / replace from BeaconChannel = 1; to BeaconChannel = 0;

After this open mission in ME and save.

Now you can "Load from file" the "Radar..." Group and save.

Check if the FuG16Z is chosen (in case that it is not standard equipment)

This is the basic installation.
