IL2DCE dynamic campaigns extended and continued

I recommend downloading it for all single player players and you will have a great time. Finally, statistics on the number of planes shot down, which add up to a total. The guy is working on it and is still improving something. 3 periods include historical events and one fictional one. (for now) :)

1. Adlerangriff

2. Kanalkampf

3. Supply Wars

4. Supply Wars.tobruk (fiction)

It works! But TobruK is located in Europe.. Other than that, it seems to work. I have only tested with one mission.. Been a while since i played CLOD.

Tobruk is fictitious. The map is on the channel because he said that it was more difficult to map Tobruk. The point is that he used the rest of the planes that were in Tobruk. And he added other nationalities here: USA, France, Italy.

Yes. I noticed that. Nice addition anyways. Been waiting this. Little Out of topic, but IMO CLODs maps are still looking better, because there is more living with farms and Cities like London etc.. Desert map needs a bit work, though.

I have a question: What is the difference between IL2DCE and TheOden's DynMis?

TheOden's DynMis is an old original program for dynamic campaigns. And then it was not worked on anymore. But the rights to this program remained free, so one enthusiast "silkyskyj" improved it to the latest addons for CoD. You can have both dynamic campaigns installed at once. But the version from "silkyskyj" is significantly expanded and you can have a lot of campaigns at once ... 🙂

And the latest version is extended to fictional maps, but the machines are included all after the last addon Tobruk (it would like more online large maps). The download link is the same as in the first post.

Adlerangriff

Cross v Roundel.Tobruk

Isles of Doom.Tobruk

Kanalkampf

Supply Wars

Supply Wars.Tobruk

Thank you for your interest and use.

The development version that I have forked and released currently has many bugs and I cannot guarantee future compatibility, so I am very sorry, but please wait a little longer until the next release version.

We are currently testing and fixing minor bugs.

Also, since I do not have the skills or experience to create mission files, please do not expect mission files to be attached in the future.

I am very sorry.

Instead, I am creating a function to convert standard single missions for IL2DCE and import them.

In the next release version, if your own mission file format is supported, you will be able to select the following countries (AirForces) as your carrier.

・Red
Royal Air Force
United States Army Air Forces
French Air Force
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
Polish AirForce
Czechoslovak Air Force

・Blue
Luftwaffe
Regia Aeronautica
Hungarian Air Force
Romanian Air Force
Finnish Air Force
Slovak Air Force

*However, since the AirGroup group name cannot be freely changed, the existing one is used and only the display is customized. It would be appreciated if there were skins for each country.

*When converting an existing mission file to IL2DCE, do the following. Split the mission file into the following three files and write them in a dedicated configuration file.
1. Basic environment file with only [PARTS] and [MAIN]
2. AirGroup-specific file with [PARTS], [MAIN], and [AirGroups]
3. Ground files such as [PARTS], [MAIN], [Chiefs], [Stationary], [Buildings], and [FrontMarker].
*IL2DEC requires the [FrontMarker] information.

Please refer to the Campaign subfolder included in the IL2DCE package to create it.

@silkysky maybe try making contact with @batmacumba from TFS.

He'll probably be able to assist you progressing this if it's not too time consuming (like Air group name changes)?

Worth asking as this is a really useful addition to CloD since @theOden stepped away from his DCG.

Thank you for your advice.

I don't want to burden the current development team, even if it's just a little, so if I make an inquiry, I'll do it after I've improved the completeness of my add-in a little more.

As for the display name of the AirGroup, I will publish it as a fictitious name at first, and hope that users will point out the correct name.

If there is anyone who has an attachment to the air forces of each country, they may be able to change it or point out the best name.
(I'm sorry, it's also because I want to spend time coding and testing...)

I didn't know Oden stepped away from his DCG, that's upsetting news.

So sorry, there was a mistake. TheOden's DynMis is definitely still being worked on. I thought the gentleman was asking about the first version of IL2DC, which someone created, but then stopped working on it (I don't know the author) but that there were free rights so anyone who wanted could continue working on it and so "silkyskyj" worked on it. But it is true that there is a difference, that they are 2 different programs for dynamic campaigns. It's just that TheOden's DynMis doesn't have a sum of statistics (total number of kills) but it is more comprehensive.

Hi there, this looks brilliant!

I just  installed v0.5.5., when I start the game and go to the single player menu it shows both the "il2dce quick mission" and "il2dcg campaign" options, but when I click them nothing happens, it just stays in the single player menu.
Am I missing something I have to do first?

I tried older versions I found here: https://onedrive.live.com/?id=538DE3D97D257B91!s09102d91c6094f4b988021bdd2b6bcb5&cid=538DE3D97D257B91&sb=lastModifiedDateTime&sd=2 and the newest one that does work is "il2dce_blitz_silkyskyj_dev_0.3.12.0".

I'd really love to give it a go but right now I'm a bit confused and would very much appreciate any help :)

EDIT:  SOLVED it... somehow. Not sure why, but I wont complain. But if you have the same problem, try going back to a version that works, like dev_0.3.12.0. for example. Create a campaign there, fly a mission in it and then install the the latest version over it, without deleting anything... not sure why but that seemed to have done the trick for me. Now v0.5.5. works like a charm. :)
