After a practice attack on a train, the detached locomotive was moving at a speed of at least 500 km per hour. It was impossible to catch up with it. I am sending the recorded track. Map Prokhorovka

This has been a bug for several updates now, and has been reported.

As far as I'm aware @LukeFF has commented that the developer team can reproduce this now, hopefully a fix won't be too long.
