I removed the OpenXR toolkit and just run the PimaxXR Control Center 0.4.4 but then was wondering about world scale etc as I lost the OpenXR in-game adjustment menu so I thought I would play with the Il2 IPD adjustment instead.

Revelation - setting for me on -15 I found I had much better depth perception  and cities, aircraft and ground objects were much more visible.  I could actually notice vehicles on the road when flying and track them so much easier.  It was like an ah-ha moment for me who hadn't really looked at this setting before and wondered why world distance clarity was not so great.

Always learning something new.  I did checking with external plane view rotating my plane to see if it looked right to my eye with shape and decals.  All seemed good.  Now I have the VR visuals in this sim at a new level....

Happy Days.

Now back to my Me110 Moscow Career for a early morning airfield strike and see how Moscows wintery cloudy sunrise looks. 😁👍

@blitze  I would love to see a screenshot of the setting so that I can try it out.

Really interesting. I would like to know more about this setting.😎

I believe the Il2 ingame IPD setting for VR (LeftShift Numberpad+ and LeftShift Numberpad Enter) adjust Stereoscopic Depth in VR.

Adjusting this brought depth perception in plane and external world to life giving much better clarity to objects near and far (which was my VR gripe up till now).  I was having a hoot flying through the Docks Railway building at Le Harve on the Normandy map after playing with this setting and the engines on the Me110 looked very nice and their outside gauges were more readable without the need for quick zoom.  Looking backward also at the rear gunner was interesting too (when flying unarmored configuration Me110e).

This in my Pimax 8K-X which is a dual screen VR headset.  I am wondering if it also sorts out Grass on Ultra Setting when landed.  Before it was a mismatch between left and right eye for me.  I ended up turning Grass off but I will check it out again.

@blitze  Thank you for the details above.  For me +6 seemed to clarify the image just a bit with my Pimax Crystal Light.  It is definitely noticeable.

It sure is.
I put grass on Ultra and sat on the airfield and it all lined up.

Will re-install OpenXR Toolkit so I have in game onscreen adjustment.

Nice catch Blitze, can completely eliminate the oXR toolkit now.  These in game adjusters behaved very different before in the G-2 and even the pre-openXR pimax, was more like a cross eye distortion fixer, now it acts as scaling in the pimax light, very useful.  Never would have checked it.
