20mm and 11mm Becker and Balloon Gun Ammo

Hi there,

In various tests on the QMB, I repeatedly find that the effect of the Becker cannon and the balloon machine gun is unsatisfactory. The Becker cannon is absolutely destructive against targets such as aircraft, trucks or artillery, but it does very little to no damage against observation balloons and tanks. With the balloon machine gun, it seems to me that it takes me much longer to finish off a balloon than with the normal 7.7mm or 7.92mm machine guns. I would also expect that 11mm ammunition should penetrate the thin armor of WW1 tanks and cause enough damage inside to take out a tank.

The same goes for the Becker cannon, I would expect it to shred a balloon and reliably take out a tank if it hits well but it doesn’t.

Well, that's just my subjective opinion, I have no knowledge of ballistics or what damage certain ammunition does to certain materials.

Now my question @LukeFF
Is there any data I could provide to check the effectiveness of the ammunition?

I think the balloon gun damage was logged as a bug with clips provided by players. Luke can confirm.

There was also a confirmed issue with the Bekker using the ww2 ammo but again I’m not sure if that was addressed. The devs will need tracks if you can share them.

Yes, I need track files to show our engineers where the problem might be.
