Not possible to register on ATAG?

I've been meaning to get back into CLOD and wanted to make an account on ATAG to be able to look at their downloads in terms of skins etc... However it's been 24h or so and still no activation link has been sent to me via email... I've checked, i typed it right and it's not in my spam folder either.

What username are you trying to register under on the ATAG Forum? We're experiencing a glitch with the email confirmation process which Team Fusion is aware of and trying to fix. In the meantime I'm simply registering new forum members manually, which I will do for you. (The email confirmation has been very effective in screening out bots/spammers). 

 

Also, I just manually registered a few new members earlier today, so please check to see if you're already good to go on the ATAG Forum.

I just went to register today for the same reasons haha. Realised I haven't received an email yet either and looked up some help on the internet and found this. If its possible could I also be registered manually ? First time posting too lol so I hope this isn't the wrong place to ask. My username I made was SardonicATAG. I would message but apparently I'm only allowed to send 0 messages a day.

We’ve recently been attacked by a series of spambots. When the forum detected several accounts with variations of the same username at the same IP address, it automatically blocked your registration. This is not your fault at all - it’s those darned spambots that muck things up!

Hello, Snapper.  I too have been trying to register at ATAG forums, but have been getting that same "The PlayThru game was not completed" message and it won't allow me to register.  Any assistance would be helpful.  I recently got back into trying IL2: Cliffs of Dover Blitz ( flew IL2 back when it very first came out ) and have been away for years, so, just now trying to get all my Track IR and new Thrustmaster controls set up comfortably.  Between here and there I hope to get a lot of my questions answered and a lot of assistance, but first I need to get registered there.  Thanks if you can help.

They have been under bot registration attack for some time making it difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff.  ATAG_Snapper diligently reaches out to all legitimate registrants and gets them set up.

As Paul mentioned above, we've been under vicious spambot attack all summer. I had to employ a number of rigorous entry questions/captcha steps, all of which the bot technologies were able to defeat. The bots then flooded the forum with nonsensical threads and posts which essentially rendered the ATAG Forum nonfunctional. I developed various methods to quickly cleanse the forum of these, only to have literally hundreds more threads/posts being entered within minutes by dozens of new bots breaching the system. Unfortunately, while the recently-adopted "play-thru" filter has effectively blocked out the bots, it has also prevented new legit registrants from joining the forum as well.
