Template Spitfire Mk Vb Trop ??

Good evening,

 

I have downloaded the template from the ATAG site for the Spitfire Mk Vb Trop entitled "TFS Spit Vb_Trop Simplified Template v03" and I have a problem with the sand filter:

 

 

 

Apparently, it comes from this area (in red):

 

 

Is this the right template or not ?

@Mistralfred901. Not sure if Setback got back to you. It’s been a while since I skinned in Clod so things may have changed. 
 

In days of yore all the internal details shown on the template were replicated or even ignored by the game. Effectively you could blotch some colours on and it would magically appear in game with all the rivets and lines in place. Many of these items were inaccessible to users to repaint. 
 

To that end, creating another layer and painting the underside colour over the block highlighted or alternatively cutting the parts layer out in that same area should solve the issue.

Good evening BOO and thank you for your reply. Indeed, I thought of creating a layer to put on top to hide the structure of the plane at the air intake.

@Mistralfred901 My pc is in for repair at the moment so I can’t download the template myself. Major Setback isn’t one to make mistakes or rush stuff so I’m just wondering if that part of the template isn’t already a layer in its own right that can be switched on or off.

That is odd, as I created and used the template to make almost all Tropical Spitfires in the game, both default and user skins.

 

Are you using this: 'TFS Spitfire Vb_Trop multi-layered template v03' or this 'TFS Spit Vb_Trop Simplified Template v03' ?

Use the first. I don't know where the second came from (possibly from me, though I don't know where from or how).
