FPS Drop

Without any changes on my part, my FPS dropped from the 90s to the 60s tonight.  I am flying in VR (HP Reverb G2) with an RTX 3080.  Anyone else experience the same?

I noticed drop in fps for my Aero that seems to have started with 5.201 update. Stock missions and missions I had previously made using the ME showed corresponding performance losses. This was immediately noticeable as fpsVR frametime graphs went from green to constant orange. Wonder what 5.202 has in store. ?

@Dagwoodyt  It was fpsVR that shouted at me also.  That orange color is somewhat distressing.

Just tried again, and same result...very downgraded FPS.  Is it me, or is it IL-2?

@Dagwoodyt  I have tried a whole bunch of tweaks and have checked out everything that I can, but no joy.  Are you still seeing a performance drop?

I have weird occasional FPS drops in multiplayer servers. They appear when taking a tank or kite and clicking start, FPS drops suddenly to 15-30. Very annoying, when just took last Tiger or Me262 of the base...

 

It gets fixed every time same way; I have to go to graphics setting and change them and restart. It does not matter, which way I change and that makes it absurd. I can jump up or down, from low to ultra or vice versa, from high to balanced, result is always the same, FPS back to normal. That's why I nowadays always try first with some contraption which is abundantly available...   

 

It happens only in multiplayer servers, never in scripted or single ones. In those, with ultra settings, my stone age mill still keeps fps +100.
