Varibraun Posted January 20, 2024 Posted January 20, 2024 I saw a couple of mentions of this from @DBCooper and @Charlo-VR and thought it would be worth making a thread to gather experiences from those who have tried it. From the YT video below it appears to be mainly targeted at the Pimax Crystal and requires eye tracking. The YT comments seem encouraging: https://almalence.com/dlplugin/ 2
Charlo-VRde Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 I haven’t yet decided if I will try it since I enjoy my Crystal just fine without it (I pretty much only fly MP in IL-2 GB and have a 4090, and SteamVR works well for me, too). The free license ends this month, unless that has been or gets extended. Perhaps Pimax will add it to their software.

Yes, they provided a new version/extended license until the end of March earlier today. Almalence works and looks awesome in DCS but I haven't been able to get it to work properly in IL2. It would briefly work in opencomposite until IL2 crashed. I suspect since it needs eye tracking to work and opencomposite doesn't support that in Il2 at this time. I bet pimax will implement it in pimax play since most of the feedback has been pretty much positive... 1
