I think this makes sense.  Similar to the mechinical computers fighter pilots had towards the end of the war that highlighted enemy planes with red pixels when they came into range of 50 miles.  Or is that the F35?  Will have to check into this.  

 

At any rate I must have this monitor so I can be undisputed king of IL2 multiplayer.  My life long goal.

There are lots of those. Non-existing self esteem, lack of skills, narcissism etc.  There are even online shops and companies selling those services.

 

I've seen such performance in some sims, it's otherwise impossible. Like shooting through thick forest without visual, 1-ping kills from from extreme distance, shells coming through hilltop and buildings, aircrafts shooting in 35 degree angle from centerline, bomber gunners killing fighters beyond gun range, heavy bombers outperforming single engine fighters in dogfight, bulletproof kites and and immortal ground vehicles, planes which loose no E in any movement etc.

 

Some years ago, I filmed some specialties in another sim and sent them to game owner. Several super pilots vanished and I became the most hated pilot in our side, as enemy lost its heroes. Cheats exist and more anticheats are developing, more cheats are done to break them. That's human nature, selfish and arrogant. Unfortunately.

Well somebody simply do not have a life. Some have extra pleasure just by frustrating other people. I do too , when I occasionally can hit back on a superior attacker, but that is a pleasure well earned

Yeah, sad but true. It really is something when people haven't got enough about them that they are compelled to resort to 'false gratification' to make themselves feel good innit?

Me? I'm quite happy failing and learning why. Doesn't make me any better at it but at least I have something to strive for and I end up educated by it...

Some people are lame enough that they have to cheat in cartoon games. Look at all the wall hacks, ESP hacks and aimbots that exist in various games.

 

Personally I haven't seen enough of the game to notice anything shady going on but then again I've only been playing for a couple months.

The best cheater is not the most blatant one. It is the one who is subtle enough so it is hard to tell if it is cheating or just incredible skill. There will be cheating as long as there are games around with any competetive element involved...sadly.
