Take Golitsyno! 1941 is a twelve-mission single player scripted campaign in which the Player will fly the Bf 110E-2 on the Battle of Moscow map.  Missions are from November 15 to December 5, 1941.  This time period is when the Battle of Moscow hung in the balance.  It was a critical time in the war.  The Germans renewed their drive on Moscow, however, their units were thin after so much fighting since June 22nd, and, the Russians have been reinforced with troops from Siberia.  The Bf 110 Zerstorers of SKG 210 help in the German attempt to take the important city of Golitsyno.

To have the "Wasp" skins (THANKS TO E69_julian57see the link below:

***Notes:  A mission is completed when the player lands back at his home airfield.  So, even if targets are not destroyed, if you make it back alive, then you have accomplished the mission!

All missions start on the runway with engine running.

If flying with waypoints on, some waypoints may point back to the previous waypoint so please disregard this err.  Just follow the map course.

The campaign was not fully tested so I hope there are not any major problems.

Missions have short flight times.

Enjoy!

Thanks for your work! Will try this one soon! Although I'm not a huge fan of ground attack planes I found the Bf110 quite fun to fly in previous campaigns.

Hello gentlemans !

Just started this campaign, that really looks quite promising.

But for the time being couldn't get passed mis nr 1, just because the enemy is simply shredding us to pieces. tried just three times, managed to bet the bombs right where they were....needed ;), last time even managed to evade the enemy fighters almost near our front lines, but with the gunners's ammo expended and running on only one damaged engine, it was end of mission again.

What i'm asking is that the AI has got better/different that initially intended, or if i'm not managing the situation right.

So i got it: Sometimes you have to drop the bombs early and fight for your life! Al least that's how i did, and managed to survive.

Mission four (i think) was a blast. Dropped bombs early, got rid of those fighters by fast diving (our escort of 2 Bf109s engaged and....died soon), shot some ground targets and then got entangled with some Il2 s! those guys were really keen on getting some aerial kills. However my gunner sharpshooted one, incredibly, and jus as i smashed one from far too close , his wing tore apart and bent my left propeller. Damn, and my plane was looking soo good, no holes. But managed to get home and land nicely on single engine. Incredible, with just one engine running at cruise power, managed to keep altitude 500 m and speed at about 300 km/h. That's a sturdy beast.....

So, wow, great mission.

Thx, CzechTexan

I can't make things too easy for you! haha!  There has to be some challenges to make it interesting.  Glad you finally got it!
