Do you plan on updating/increasing the resolution of the  static aircraft so that they’re actually useful on a players’ airfield? In DCS static AC look just like the flying AC.

Do you plan on improving (as you did with Stalingrad) the maps like Kuban and Rhineland that are filled with repeating, clone-stamped farm textures and replacing with procedural textures?

 

Do you plan on finishing the Rhineland map which lacks development in the Bastogne area?

X2, although Luke has told me that work on improving the Rheinland Map is ongoing but i would still like to hear more.

Are there to be more collector planes or similar additions beyond the currently announced stuff to the current title as the new project continues development?

 

Will anything be added in support of the Finnish community map, such as voice acting, aircraft packs, career mode support?

It seems like it would be a simple thing to provide us with AI Infantry Detachments in the mission editor for all of the countries like we have with the Normandy US and Brits. Why has this not been done for BOX, and FC?

Will more in depth navigation be modelled (control over course setters, choosing what base you get guided to instead of just being guided to the nearest base).

 

Will there be more workload for the pilot instead of the game taking over the largest part (NOT talkin' 'bout clickable cockpits but more binds for switching stuff like magnetos, electronics, etc,...on and off  )?

Will there be WW1 infantry implemented in Flying Circus?

Infantry attacks are already on Knights of the Sky online server but unfortunately the admins have to use WW2 infantry

All the talk in the news about AI and how great it is or how it will be the doom of mankind...and yet AI in most games is terrible...Hello NPC's! 

 

My question is this: Any chance the AI could be revamped to be at least as good as the original IL2? If not, are there any plans to really improve the AI in the new project we cannot talk about?

Wil there ever be sovitet and german infantry models like the american and british.  And can we have static models for the rest of the planes. At least one for the c47.

Can we anticipate further growth for the Battle of Normandy and Battle of Bodenplatte theaters? For examples:

- New flyables (other than gliders) that are appropriate for either of these theaters.

- Map evolution that will add buildings to the unpopulated areas of the Normandy and Rheinland maps.

- New scenery and AI vehicle objects.

- New Collector Vehicles; or a Tank Crew set in the ETO.

Any changes to the stat system including more things being tracked, making the scoreboard customizable and adding an off option?

 

Will you be attempting anything ingame to replace air marshall like a hyper lobby or group finding UI to make servers more pug friendly, and more suitable for come and go players?

 

Any changes to the spotting system to equalize spotting ability among different hardware and graphics settings?

 

Any info on DM changes.

Are there any plans to fill in some of the gaps in the FC aircraft set, particularly two seaters.

There is no German recon two seater before the DFW (Albatros C.III, Aviatik C.II, LVG C.II, or other)

There is no German late war recon two seater  (Albatros C.XII, LVGC.V, etc)

There is no French  recon two seater before the Sopwith Strutter (Farman F.40, etc)

The BE2 is an iconic aircraft that has never been done in RoF or FC.

 

If I could have only one of the above I would choose the early war German two seater.  The Roland C.II is not the answer.  We need a viable target for Nieuport 1s and DH2s.

 

 

Will there be an attempt to address performance issues in the current engine such that more aircraft can be in the air at the same time?

I think the questions people really want answered most are the topics that are not open for discussion. Respectfully, what is the point of this exercise? It appears that most resources are going to the new “thing”. Are we to believe that any of these requests would actually be implemented in the current game? Are you looking for ideas for the new project that is claimed to be well underway?
 

The current development team has proven that they have problems communicating with this audience. Will you improve on your previous performance or will we again be left with more questions than answers.
 

With respect, I personally challenge Han to deliver a meaningful, well planned stream that is truly informative and leaves us feeling better about what we don’t know.

There's a lot that can be discussed without actually revealing what the next title will be - implementation of new tech, new features in general, etc. The other option is to clam up and not talk about anything until the new title is announced, and it's readily apparent people don't want that. ?

Following this bit by Han on the "Yet-to-be-announced title" thread...

So... I am not hinting at anything, but there are no principal limitations or barriers in our game engine and graphics engine to evolve it for something like "F-35 versus Su-57" or "Wings over Vietnam", or even for round-world modelling, or riding your Harley to the airbase and walking around your plane and checking its insides, talking to technicans, and other pilot-RPG features we ever dreamed as flight simmers.

 

Is there any plan on expanding in the pilot RPG side of the sim?

Respectfully, the developers are the ones who have been clamming up. The community has had lots to say! I will keep an open mind with hopes that something valuable will be discussed.

1) Will our prior modules and purchases be compatible with the new project? I would like to know if I will still be able to fly my current aircraft set against the aircraft set in the new project online.

2) If a new engine tech is being implemented, will current assets be updated to the new engine standards?

3) Will the team be implementing DirectX12 or Vulkan?

4) Will DLSS/DLAA/FSR be implemented with the new project?

5) What capabilities will be added to the mission editor in the new project?

6) Will current jet engine technology be enhanced in the new project? 
7) Will the new engine support modeling of aircraft breaking the sound barrier? Will sonic booms be implemented?

8 ) Will there be additional ammo and bomb fuse customization compared to what we have now?

9) Will the new engine have the capability to support an aircraft carrier asset?

10) Will ray tracing be supported as part of the graphics update with the new project?

11) Is there a plan to implement PBR with current assets or with assets in the new project?

Will you PLEASE add the ability in controls settings to press a button (on your HOTAS, button box, keyboard, etc.) and have it jump to which game control you have it mapped to like in DCS?

Do you plan on implementing a “On User Input” trigger for the editor logic like DCS has? (space bar press) This allows players to directly interact with the mission logic.

Yup, and for the love of God, can the devs please make the B-25/26 flyable in the current series? Not having any Allied bombers (excluding Soviet ones which Western players never really fly) minus the A-20 attacker is a joke when the Germans have Stukas, Heinkel 111s, Ju-88s, Me-262s, and even a freaking Ar-234! It just makes no sense.

Do you plan to rebuild the shaking effects on FC aircraft airframe when it is damage by bullet. It's start shaking after just one bullets hits the airframe (tested using the revolver -personal weapon) ?

Just one bullet to the canvas... 

It's totally unrealistic and raise in the  amplitude when more bullets register hit.

Asymmetrical lift could be stimulated like in WW2 but when fabric is torn by lots of bullets but not shaking form left to right like it's now.

If that was the situation back then, you can forget about bombers now when core team is mostly occupied with new project it seems. Meanwhile, Ugra Media guys are busy with FC conversions so they won't assist either.

 

One can ask about new flyable bombers in next installment of the series, but don't expect them in current one.

Well, to be fair the B-25/26 already have a flight model, damage model, external 3D model. All we're missing is a cockpit and gunner positions.

Don't mention hedges, but do we get coniferous trees in western maps?

Do new project would implemented DLSS ,or other modern graphics technologies 

would it have  VR support in native OpenXR runtime?

Do new project planes act as ridged body or have airframe surface flex, bend, vibrate - has elasticity parameters.

Will there be revisions to the P-47 in the near-future so that it may perform closer to its real-life counterpart?

 

Will there be revisions to the awful distance rendering of tracers? Currently, in many situations, it is easier to watch for tracer fire at a distance of several miles than it is to spot the aircraft themselves. Excellent progress was made with the navigation lights (and other light sources), so it's a bit frustrating to see that tracers remain largely untouched.

 

Will Rheinland receive any more updates? The map is terribly uninspired, sludge-like and bears very little resemblence to the reality of western Europe.

Hello; just to highlight some already asked questions:

1) WW2 wingmen AI (SP): could they at least pay attention to orders & messages that already exists in a sim. I know it's too late at this stage to add new commands, but the communication and responses to the existing ones is no existent.

2) FC AI (SP): please improve it. Enemy aircraft sometimes don't even bother to try to give a decent fight. ROF AI is still better (in spite of the infamous spiral circle downwards).

3) P-47 & P-40 improvements (FM, P-47 toughness and engine, P-40 performance).

4) Rhineland map improvements.

5) FC: An early war German two-seater, please.

Plans for new damage engine sounds for  (rotary , inline, radial) , the one used in current GB is the same for all planes and reused from ROF 2009 library .

Plans for  points given for cargo, paratroopers delivery , recon  etc in multiplayer scenario?

Plans for changing instant death when bailout out and land on water?
