Simon1234_12 Posted November 21, 2023 Posted November 21, 2023 There was a page about the medal requirements for RoF but I believe it got deleted. Could someone please write them here?
Dr1falcon500 Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Medals are awarded on the number of successful missions completed in career, not just enemy planes shot down. I suppose there's some formula used. Some medals like the Blue Max are awarded only to officers.

mattdanison Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 (edited) Flying with the United States 94th Aero Sqdn at Gengoult Airfield- After 5 successful sorties- Distinguished Service Cross and Croix de Guerre. As the French officer pinned the medal on me he probably said: "But of course, Sergeant, but of course." After 11 sucessful sorties- DSC w/Bronze Oak Leaf, CdG w/Bronze Palm During one flight, all five aircraft crashed. No KIA or WIA. After 37 successful sorties (out of 40)- DSC w/ two bronze oak leaves, CdG w/ two bronze palms, promotion to 2nd Lt. While flying on autopilot, one of my wingmen crashed into my upper wing and destroyed my prop. I glided down to a cow pasture and went ass over teakettle. My wingman, Captain Francis Cantu, was damned lucky I couldn't find him. "Incomplete. Objective not reached." After 50 successful sorties (out of 56)- DSC w/ three bronze oak leaves, Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honour. While transferring the squadron from a quiet sector to a new airfield, we were engaged in combat twice. I shot down a D-7 in my N-28 by luck and by leading him. I then ran out of petrol 2 miles from the new airfield at Coincy. "Incomplete. Objective not reached." At this point in the game I haven't been killed yet. But we are at a new airfield now.... Crashed head-on into a very good German pilot, Paul Becker. With oil covering my windscreen, I immediately hit pause and then ended the mission. I survived and got credit for a kill. I have now shot down 5 aircraft. After 54 successful sorties (out of 61) I was promoted to 1st Lt. After 64 successful sorties (out of 71)- DSC w/ four bronze oak leaves. This is a quiet sector too. I haven't seen any Huns yet. Crashed head-on into Max Hartmann and KIA. Edited May 31, 2024 by mattdanison Updated with new info on May 25, 2024..
WTFdigitalrebellion Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 I received an Iron Cross 2nd class, Iron Cross 1st class and Pilots Badge on my first sortie with Jasta 2 in a career I started not long ago, how does that apply?
Simon1234_12 Posted August 12, 2024 Author Posted August 12, 2024 @LukeFFHey man, sorry to bother you but I remember that you posted them on the old forum and I think you could help us here if you wouldn't mind.
1CGS LukeFF Posted August 12, 2024 1CGS Posted August 12, 2024 They will be similar to what is in Flying Circus: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/83633-guide-to-earning-awards-in-career-mode-for-flying-circus/
Simon1234_12 Posted August 12, 2024 Author Posted August 12, 2024 They are similar but not the exact same. Is it possible to find these numbers in the game files or some other things?

Barkhorn1x Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 Sorry I took so long to respond here. I saved this info a LONG time ago...
