Immortal enemy IL-2 mod. 1943 in career mode

I'm doing an intercept attackers mission on 16.05.1943 on the Bf110 and when we get to the mission area there is only a singular IL-2, sometimes it is just chilling on the ground, sometimes it's flying, and it seems to be invulnerable.

 

I strafed it several times when it was on the ground and nothing happened to it. Same thing in the air, dozens of good 20mm hits both from me and from my AI wingmen and nothing is happening to it. No smoke. No fuel leaks. No dead gunner. Nothing. I even tried ramming into it and nothing happened to it while I barely survived with an engine failure. I've seen direct 20mm hits on the wings, tail and gunner compartment, so I am sure it's not just poor gunnery on my side.

There actually were 2 invulnerable IL-2's this time, seems like my squad managed to make it manouver into the ground (last picture is the one that took a bunch of 20mm shells and I rammed). Notice how engines are still running with propellers phasing through the ground. They are also not recorded as downed on the post-battle map (two enemies on the right were Yaks shot down by 109's) and the friendly bf110 which the IL-2 did shoot down does not say it was shot down by it.

Do you have the mission file? That's what @Regingrave will need. It's in the /data/ missions folder, called _gen.mission. As long as you haven't flown another mission since then, it'll still have that mission data.
