Am I likely on the latest version or do I need to purchase one of the more recent ones like Bodenplate or Normandy? Which I do plan to do as soon as I see even a modest sale. Thanks. No, every title receives the same patches/updates, so long as you've been logging into the game in online mode you're good to go.
keithbriscoe99 Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Hmm not sure if I'm logging into online mode. I have only played single player and start up via Steam.

JG4_Moltke1871 Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Tonight flown my first Breguet Mission post patch… First time I was escorted by Bristol FIII‘s. I was surprised about the way they covered my flight, escorted me on same level left/;right to me instead flying above my unit. It’s a new feature? (Btw looks great) Unfortunately after my successful landing he still try to cover me close and crashed into a tree ?
JG4_Moltke1871 Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 The cargo drop night missions with Li2 are really nice on Kuban map. Especially with the searchlights at the waypoints. But if I put the waypoint on the water there will be a searchlight in the sea ? I don’t know it’s too complicated to program that but a ship with a searchlight would be nice in that case ?
Mysticpuma Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 (edited) As there is consideration for revamping older aircraft, can I just ask for the metallic reflection layer to be add to the P51B/C so we can get those great reflections like on the P-51D. Just one layer.... just one..... Edited October 6, 2023 by Mysticpuma 4

I asked about this, and according to our QA lead, things are correct as they are right now, due to the P-51B being mostly covered in paint in contrast to the primarily bare-metal covering of the D model. I'm not a skinner, but he also said you could tweak the alpha channel of the skin to get the glossiness you want. 1

DarkWolf29 Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 Would it be possible for this issue with the P-47D-22's spinner hub to get some attention in the next patch? Specifically the way the hub turns white when spinning? I think the problem was introduced with the new prop animations about a year ago, I'm surprised it's still lingering after so many patches. DW

I haven't seen any evidence that they're particularly worried about these issues over the ensuing time. They might be, I just haven't seen any evidence of it. The 'bare metal' issue is at least 6 years old (conservatively speaking even). The P-47 D22 spinner is a thing that wasn't even there on release and appeared after a couple of consequent updates. 1

Well, I can at least try. ? 2

Its NMF is equal to the D model I think. The P-47D-22 sucks however. No amount of tweaking the alpha has worked for me. As to the B Mustang and razorback P-47 being most painted could be argued I guess but it seems like a cop out. It’s a shame as there were plenty of both that saw service without paint. 1
