Different seasons

I own flying circus 1 and 2,the existing maps use the 49 texture files from the Rhineland summer map.

My question is when do we expect improvements on the maps front,ie winter maps ( light snow,semi snow,full winter ) autumn,spring.

improved foliage,trees,new improved NML.

I feel this project is very much a half finished project at the moment.

I have already paid for flying circus 1 and 2,and now we have flying circus 3 with version 4 coming next.

To a newcomer this can be a very expensive having to buy 4 versions ( waiting for a sale one solution)

so my main gripe is that for the amount of money we are expected to pay out we should have a fully finished project.

Hence I will not be buying flying circus 3 and 4 until everything is finished

Yep,  for that price, we should get separate not shared map textures and seasons. Better NML for sure. I hope they deliver.

As of now to buy flying circus 1,2,3 is 220 us

Flight sims has always been an expensive past time... nothing new there.

I'm retired now so I have to pick and choose very carefully... such is life.

I agree, it can add up. Still damn less than I used to spend on cigarettes and booze, and way less than what my wife spends a year on that mindless horse**** that's on TV. But, still, the OP opinion is valid and I'm not countering it. I'd love to see all those maps as well! However, I confess I'm a whore and buy any/everything. My justification: at least I'm not getting COPD or cirrhosis. ? I have to be a little more inventive, though, trying to explain/sell to the Mrs. why I "need" another Les Paul...

The press release mentions "Western Front map upgrades", but I don't know what that means beyond having all 4 seasons and Reims.

 

@LukeFF You can probably tell us more, if you're able...

sounds great but will you need to buy flying circus3 to get all 4 seasons?

Yes, my understanding is that the all-season and Reims maps will come with FC3.

 

I've used your light snow mod in a PWCG career, and it's great - so nice to actually be able to fly in winter and have the maps look, well, wintry.

I will buy FC3 when the maps come out,FC4 interests me more with the plane set,for now I have plenty of planes to have fun in with FC 1,2

The Fokker Eindecker is in FC4 I believe,a plane which I am very keen to fly,no throttle with a blip switch ( should be fun to land )

Yes, the current plan is to have seasonal variations of the map included with FC3. 

 

@JSOflyer, no, it's also the plan that owners of any of the 3 volumes will have all the map variations. If that changes though, I'll of course let everyone know.
