BladeMeister Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 (edited) Just lovin the B/C and the clouds. Phe- F-in -nominal. I have to say a big thanks for reworking the head movement in the Malcom Hood. You didn't have to do that, but it seems you heard your customer's wishes and you just plowed on through and did it anyway. Thank you Team 1C! Edited January 13, 2022 by BladeMeister 4 1
Gingerwelsh Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 (edited) Learning the editor. A world war is raging in Europe, but in East Africa a little known, "War of the Lakes", is about to commence. The battle of Lake Awaawchaaw. The British have the Southern lake and the Germans the Northern lake, but the British want both. In between is Lake Awaawchaaw, a neutral zone and a RN gunboat "HMS The Queen" is sent to control it. The Germans have got wind of the plan and send the steam gunboat, "Louisa", to lay a trap. The Gunboat crew is alert, with a 3 inch QF gun and machine gun, but unsuspecting. "The Queen" comes under fire. The QF gun is brought into action. Captain Allnutt, is in command. Under heavy fire from 20 and 37mm guns. This shot starts a fire on the rear turret magazine. . Boooom! Lake Awaawchaaw is ours. .. Edited January 14, 2022 by Gingerwelsh 4 1

In addition to @BladeMeister's answer, you can play with the zoom, use the + and - keys on the numeric keypad (these are my keys, they may not be the default) rather than the mouse wheel which is less powerful. This way, you won't see inside the textures. 1

Rjel Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 5 hours ago, Jake said: How can you zoom in so close? Below are my settings. I use the mouse wheel to zoom in as tight as it allows first. That way you don't get the elongated view of the wings or fuselage like you sometimes see in screenshots people post. Then I use "Move free camera forward backward" setting to frame the image as I want it. 5 hours ago, BladeMeister said: F2 key to get outside view, then F11, hold the numpad 0 key down(to slow down camera movement) while you use the mouse controls to adjust camera angle and distance from subject.
