I've been reqorking the Spitfire Mk IXe weathering and alpha channels.  I decided to let some of the paint show through and have more targeted rather than generic dirt.

Other aircraft I really should revisit include the LaGG3 and Early Yak 1.

Fall 1942. Petrov finishes his first flight in the Li-2, flying West of Stalingrad encountering heavy German flak. Petrov and the crew of the plane, nicknamed "Stalinskaya kapelnitsa" or Stalin's Dropper, bravely continued their bombing, dropping four 250kg bombs onto German troops hiding in a village. The plane took heavy damage but returned to base safe. Petrov was rewarded with the medal "For Battle Merit".

Any of you screenshoters encounter discrepancies between your flights and tracks ? I have noticed some problems with pre-damaged objects and it is quite annoying.

November 20, 1942.

Prepping for the evacuation of Tusov.  Massive Soviet Armies approaching from the North and South are only about 5 miles (8 km) away. Also Tusov's based SG1 lost several Hs 129s and BF109s since the offensive began.. The Luftwaffe at Pitomnik could not help because they are understaffed and overwhelmed from bomber raids and out of service airplanes. The Romanian Air Force are too busy trying to save their hard pressed armies that are being decimated from the Soviet Juggernaut
