While I can’t say the effect should be every time you poke holes in a plane, I’m sure we’ve all seen film clips and pictures of A/C going down in flames looking exactly like that. Numerous Japanese fighters streaming long trails of flame are usually shown in documentaries. I’ve also seen several horrifying images of B-17s, B-24s and even a couple of B-29s going down in the same manner.

Cheers! For those wondering, propeller broke by hitting a tree on that mountain.  Had enough speed to zoom up and land around the airfield but still in the airfield "area".

I think it's just the single 1000kg. Ither a mod option or just a basic loadout. Don't remember. I also had the level bombsight installed in this case.
