"IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946" has now a permanent price of 10 US dollars... what a fine way to reward me, I who paid 45 bucks for the original DVD...

 

I'm sorry, Chief_Mouser, but we all need to become serious and realistic: at some point, all simulators see their price drops in favor of something new. These prices are good news, they make think that a new simulator is in the works...

I'm pretty sure that this $4 was always there, as a reward for pre-ordering. Check in your profile how much you paid for them.

Exactly. Pre orders are on permanent "pre order sale" - usually 10-15% off.

Please choose yourself the periods in the year when you purchase your 1CGS products. I'm much more of a flight-simulation guy, so planes, not submarines nor tanks, and this is why, for example, I won't purchase my "Tank Crew" module until its price is equal or lower than 25% of its full price.

Thank you, but my desktop PC is broken (I use my laptop now) and I won't use any simulator at the moment.

 

What's wrong with "Tank Crew"? You didn't liked it?

I don’t have any hard feelings towards the developers. Up until recently they did a very good job with this sim. But I have to agree with you. I just don’t feel the same about blindly supporting them no matter what. I find the lack of communication very unprofessional and a bit disrespectful. But it’s only a game and I won’t lose any sleep over it. Life is much to short.
