Can't see gunsight reticle on P-38

I don't know if I'm missing something, but the P-38 is the only plane in which I can't see the gunsight reticle.

Pause TrIR if u have one. Adjust views w del/insert/end/home.

Save new view  - F10 by default..

Thanks but I use VR. How can I pause it and adjust the view as you explain?

(BTW, if I can make it work, it would useful for adjusting the position for other planes, where I'm sitting too much in the back with the default view)

@lwalter Move your head to a position where you see the reticle in the center of the gunsight. Press F10 to save and then press your key for Default VR View.

You will need to do this for each aircraft in your inventory.

What is the "default vr view" key? Is it a control setting of IL2?

It is under Pilot Head settings in keybinds

Thank you all! This weekend I managed to reposition myself properly in the cockpit and save this new position in VR with F10.

I also noticed that you must do that while you're flying, not while the game is in pause.
