Large tactical numbers for the RAF

The standard numbers for the RAF seemed to me unnecessarily thin and small. I enlarged them a bit. On most aircraft, I like the result.

Does this enlarge the tactical codes for all airforces or just the British?

For the British only. American ones are normal. I don't play for the USSR and the Luftwaffe yet.

How do you change the size?  Do you type them in an image format and then convert to .dds?

Very good initiative

But on the other hand now the code letters are a little too big because on the left side of the spitfire MIXe they protrude on the roundel.

The correct dimension would be between the game codes and the mod one

Yes, that's why I wrote that I like the result on most types. There is not much space for creativity. Therefore, on those types where the new number is too big, I just disable this mod.

Yes, the same work as with aircraft textures. Just draw and then save as .dds.

I made a version of the letters for RAF, without increasing the size, only increasing the thickness of the font.

Congratulations, you have solved the code size appearance problem for the RAF. I really like.

 

On the other hand, I took the liberty of using the colors and the Alpha layer to give a less shiny and more melted appearance in the weathering of the skin by playing a little on the transparency of the letters from your file.

 

I made the color sky softer and closer to the real palette, same thing for the color red.

What do you think??? the colors and the Alpha channel is a bit of a matter of personal taste.

Yes, the default font color seems too saturated to me too. I'll try your version too. I like my skins of planes more, but this is a matter of taste. But all the skins of cars, armored cars and hangars I use yours.

RAF skin template roundels are completely wrong in proportion and color. I use these which seem to me much more exact.

For the camouflage colors, the ocean gray is too gray and should be more blue, the same for the medium sea gray color.
