I don't know any book that's exclusively about Nishizawa. You can find some information in two books by Henry Sakaida:

Imperial Japanese Navy Aces 1937-45

Saburo Sakai and the Zero Fighter Pilots

Another possibility:  https://www.amazon.com/Eagles-Southern-Sky-Japanese-Illustrated/dp/0473217635/ref=sr_1_1?crid=8Z33T7XNG7SI&keywords=Tainan+air+group&qid=1675668033&s=digital-text&sprefix=tainan+air+group%2Cdigital-text%2C159&sr=1-1

I haven’t had a chance to read it, but Claringbould’s work generally has a lot of interesting insight on the Japanese with great information from Japanese sources.

Holy buckets, I love books, but $700 for a paperback? Hard pass.

You’d think that would be a hint to the publishers that it’s time to print some more, or at least do an e-book edition.  ?

I remember seeing Chris Shores’ 2nd TAF books marked to over $1,000 each a few years back - absolute insanity.

I paid a premium for a pristine set of the first 3 volumes last year. I sucked air between clinched teeth for $130 each...plus shipping.
