zan64 Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Hey guys I had a brain problem that has partially paralyzed my right side (no need to say sorry or anything - I will live and most likely slowly get better, it is people who are truly sick with cancer, Parkinson's and similar that need the well wishes!) that said my thinking is also affected and I can't figure out how use the PWCG to make a mission with no enemies, and just want to take off, make standard mission patrol and land. reason being formation practice with AI and the PWCG AI fly at reasonable speeds. and would be therapeutic as the flying would help me use my hands and brain with precision. 109e7 over bodenplatte map or i-16 over moscow would be just fine. thanks guys 1
Mtnbiker1998 Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 it might be possible if you go into the advanced config > Aircraft numbers and set all the minimum and additional options to zero? Not sure thats something pwcg is really designed for. EMG would probably be better suited for this as it gives you more control over the mission parameters.
PatrickAWlson Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 What @Mtnbiker1998 said. In Advanced Configuration -> Mission Limits you will see several parameters related to friendly and enemy flights. Set them all to zero. Please note that this is not an intended use case so I do not guarantee that things will come out as you would like every time, however, it should work in most cases.
zan64 Posted January 8, 2023 Author Posted January 8, 2023 thanks guys! and thanks Pat Wilson for all of your sim work!
PatrickAWlson Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 @zan64 Suggestion: make liberal use of the scrub button. Also, move the waypoints around to create a circuit that is to your liking. You can easily take a patrol the front mission and turn it into a sight seeing tour.
