Rjel Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 I, along with others, asked months ago if the P-51B/C and the P-47D-22 could get the NMF that the P-51D model had. The Devs came through with the P-51B/C which now looks as it should when left in its natural unpainted state. The P-47D was left unchanged however. The newer B-26 also is left with the dull looking gray finish. I'm not sure about the C-47 in game but also looked great in NMF in RL. I think during the war years it was mostly painted in OD so maybe it isn't as big an issue but would still be a pleasant change of pace. I can't say how hard or involved the process is in creating the natural metal finish seen on some planes or why some planes have it and others obvious candidates don't. Will the above mentioned aircraft (and others) ever be switch over to the excellent NMF this game can produce? 1 6

Honestly, any skin I had made for the B Mustang prior to the "new" NMF looked just fine when the change was made. Your B-26 skins look great and I'm not belittling them but they would look better if they had a reflective skin that looked like aluminum. 1
