Western Front Map Object (Template) Files

Where are they?  I see the updated Normandy files from Oct 2022 in data\template but nothing for the new FC western front map.

They're not there. They likely forgot to include them.

They likely havent given it to us yet because the map is still a WIP. But Vander extracted the template from the initial release. I assume you can extract it from the game files somewhere, or I could give you what I have.

I thought the western front map had been formally released.  If it is still WIP then I should not be doing development for it in PWCG.

The "Western Front, Spring 1918" map is available in Early Access to all customers who pre-ordered Flying Circus Vol. 2 and to all owners of Flying Circus Vol. 1 as we promised at the time of the announcement. Quick Mission mode works already, the work on finalizing the map and implementing the Pilot's Career and Advanced Quick Mission modes for it continues;

So I would say It's available, but not done yet. I would imagine they will include the templates when they are finished correcting and updating it. If you need the finalized objects in place, you might want to wait.
