I had the idea for this mod, when I read in some posts that some guys would like fly over Italy and when I compared in google maps the coastlines of the Kuban Map and the italian coast lines I found that they are in some respect similar.

 

Missions Design:

Most missions are playable without time acceleration in 20 - 45 minutes.

Combat Areas:

Southern Campaign Area Sicilia

06.08.43 Etna-Line

15.08.43 Axis Troops Evacuation

18.08.43 Sicilia is liberated

 

Northern Campaign Area Campania

NEW 29.12.22: 3 Front Lines changed or new:

10.09.43 Salerno (new)

01.10.43 Napoli (changed)

UPDATE 12.01.23: NEW Front

15.11.43 Volturno

01.02.44 Cassino (new, status draft)

 

Known bugs:

-Maybe if you select the very first time the Map "Italia 43-44" an old view with the Kuban Airfields / fronts will appear:

Solution: just select one of the new front lines and the graphic will be updated.

-If one of the Sicily fronts (06.08.43, 15.08.43, 18.08.43) is active it is sometimes not possible to select the Salerno Front:

Solution: first select Napoli or Cassino front, there after you can select Salerno.

-When using one of the Sicily front lines playing as "Allied", don't use Target Distance "Far"

Solution: try to use "Short" or "random". (Because of the overlapping front areas with Lazio Region it could happen, that a target is selected in the wrong Combat Area.

I have received @Off_Winters unlabeled Kuban Map Tiles and the permission to publish.

Thanks very much!

With these maptiles installed the appearence of the GUI Map during Missions is improved, because there are no interferences with the old russian Kuban Labels.

And the good thing: It works with all old, already created EMG missions. No change of the missions required.
