If one already has BoS but not the premium aircraft, will being gifted the premium version give me the premium aircraft? Haven't gotten anything gifted before so dont know.

Not sure. Think it should work. If it does, u can re-gift your original BOS, I think. Will send the license, let me know how it goes.

Actually, I was able to find the gift on the site here, but the code is blacked out and simply gives me the prompt to gift it. Is this normal? Thanks again

No idea..srry, u might need to contact support.  Did u check whether u can fly the premium planes?

@SCG_TzigyThank you for the gift! I received the email and then logged into IL2 but for some reason the license key is all stars and there is not activate button just a send as a gift button. Did I do something incorrectly?

I have no idea. Srry. It could mean you already had that license? Or maybe some of the planes from BOM?

Is it possible to play Steam content (BOStalingrad, BOKuban and BOBodenplatte) with the non-Steam Battle of Moscow as a basis if I get it here? It would be cool as I'd like to play without the Steam app on my oldish system.

I don't want to sound a PITA, but could you please confirm that the Tobruk license code wasn't activated before? 

Since Steam says (when I try to activate it) that the product code is duplicated, suggesting that someone has already activated it before. ?

 

IL-2 customer service is ridiculous, they already let me run 2-3 email exchanges with them and finally they said sorry, we are not even the customer service for this product, contact fulqrum publishing instead... (why not start with it at the first place?)

Definitely never activated. Interesting, I checked the store just now. There is no option to buy/add to the cart button. Weird
