Idea/request: specify extra missions

Hey @SYN_Vander

 

I love your utility! It's SO helpful to give a start when I want to create new missions for me and my buddy! I'm even learning how to use the actual mission editor to tweak them, but there's still much I don't know how to do.

 

Would it be possible for your mission generator, for us to be able to choose each of the 5 mission objectives? 

Currently, we can choose one, and the rest are randomly generated.

 

For example, I would like to create a mission where the enemy is attacking airfields AND ships. But if I create a "bomb airfield" mission, the other four objectives will be random bomb missions (fuel depots, HQ, etc.). And if I choose "attack shipping" the other four missions will be random attack missions (trains, tanks, etc.)

 

I was trying to recreate a pseudo Pearl Harbor mission on the Kuban map, and have the enemy planes (Macchi's painted as Zeros) attacking the airbase and ships, while my buddy and I defend in P-40's.

Hi Spidey,

just found out some hours ago that there is the possibiltey to define individual battle as Vander did with  Opereation Jubileee / Dieppe Raid. but t is hard coded by vander, so we have to ask him for changes.

The battle works.

in Vanders EMG select Channel map, the frontline with the bigger area, with Dieppe. Date 19th August 42. 

Added later: And you have to select target jubilee

For a Pearl Harbour mission you can create in the template a Group called Radar_[frontline] (e.g. Radar_D).

It seems to me that you can put in this group e.g. extra flights attacking other targets.

I am currently on vacation, if you want see working examples please download my

in the map Invasion of Lae / Salamaua March 1942 are examples of AI naval actions by using radar groups.

in the map Papua New Guinea Kokoda Track you will see how to populate harbours with random number of ships.

And working target marking by AI planes using modded smoke bombs.

You have to open the templates with the mission editor and look inside the radar groups.
