Cool. 

 

Previous DD - "The IAR-80 visual model has made good progress. In fact, we plan to dedicate the next DD to this aircraft"

 

Hope we get some more info on the IAR next week then if nothing this week.

Underwhelming seeing that the StuG crew seems wearing the Panzer Black uniforms even in the final release as the default (and I guess only) dress. Doesn't really portray the actual units at Kursk nor the majority of units that actually employed the vehicle. Kinda bummed...

Finally! The StuG comes to life. Both this and the C-47 are going to give us good times.

Also, nice to hear about smoke dischargers.

You just click the little curved arrow in the upper right of the quote to get to the full DD.

@Alexmarine is right.

 

Standard uniform of German StuG crews was cut like that for the Panzer crews, but in field-grey instead of black. Panzer collar tabs also in field-grey with skulls but with artillery red piping instead of pink, because Sturmgeschütze were Sturmartillerie.

 

Of course, there were variations.

Hoping for news on the game engine in the next DD for BoX. 

After the video last week with interviews it just feels like we are left hanging here. 

Thanks for this update but I prefer the aviation side of the DD ?

StuG.III is a great addition. Some aircraft released weren't factors in the war due to their few numbers and lack of development of airframe and engine dur to war time pressure.  Not true of the ubiquitous StuGIII.  It was a real factor in the war and a great choice to model.

No news about next DLC or new project, no mention about FC wings fix in next patch, why  not adress most customers assumptions in those long threads, or say when it will be reviled.

Aren't you a tester? If so, then you'd know where the wing fix is right now.

I think pretty much all of these DDs will be reviled by at least one portion of the community or another.

No I'm not, Look Luk no red name, anyway  most people who are flying only FC and ask about wing fix  are not testers, why you forgot them... I see you like pic a pace from whole meal and brag about...

The StuG looks awesome!  Look forward to motoring around & looking for trouble in it.  Fine work as usual by Digital Forms, please pass along our appreciation, Han & company.

Excited to finally have the C-47 as well, and checking out the new FC map too.  Going to be a fun December!  :good:

All I see is tanks. My eyes glazed over, I entered a zen universe and had a sudden urge to broker world peace and improve my sex life. Many things ....

Very generous to model smoke mortars to Pz III and Panther too! Can't wait to fight with the Stug and get shot down flying the C-47!

I kind-of want infantry (PTRD?) to give the schürzen and roof mounted machine gun more of a purpose...

more seriously, a few questions @Wardog5711 :

will it come with its own skin model (the churchill still doesn't have one...)?

speaking of skin, the churchill had the chance to get an official "non-kursk period" skin, will the Stug have it too?

smoke for more people, that's cool, does that mean the AI will now react to this one?
 

and above all, no Scherenfernrohr S.F.14 Z.Gi for the commander of Stug?

PersonalIy I find tanks rather a collections of targets. Its DD should be placed on its specific section. I feel it ruin a potential good DD. For me they are just not of interest. 
marvels as they probably are and appreciated by many. But it is a section for it
