Xbox One Controller

Hello

First off, I have a Logitech joystick that I normally use with IL-2 that works fine. Due to circumstances beyond my control, at this time, I can only use an Xbox One Controller. Either that or no IL-2. Problem is that IL-2 recognizes the controller, but none of the controls work. The controller works fine, including with FSX, so it must be a configuration problem. I seem to recall that IL-2 seems to have a problem with more than one controller, are there controller configuration files I can edit, delete or restore to default?

Tried checking this to see if you've hit over 12 controllers?

Addendum: if that does not work, DS4Windows does recognize Xbox controllers and can be used to map them to other profiles.

In the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input there are these lines of code in the devices.txt file:

"0" is the Logitech Extreme Pro joystick, "1" is the Xbox Controller. I'll back up the devices.txt file and delete a profile or two. The joysffmap.cfg file, a configuration file, shows only Joystick "0".

After making a backup, I made a new devices.txt file. Start IL-2 and the Xbox controller works perfectly, for what it is. The controller keys had to be mapped. I'll backup the joysffmap.cfg file when I go back to the Logitech joystick. One input device at a time with the backup configuration file for each to save time.
