I think you mean Battle of Moscow, based on CloD machine.

1C never developed Battle of Moscow, we developed MMO Il-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad from 2011 to 2012 based on CloD engine. I know that you've seen some screenshots from Battle of Moscow, but the other team developed this game.

From then it was zero step forward and three backwards!

If only we had put our money right the sim world would be so different today.

I don't think so. This project would look like World of Warplanes or War Thunder, it would not be a hardcore simulator.

The only way there won't be a summer map, be that Stalingrad or another scenario, is if IL2-BoS fails to sell well after release.

Better start lobbying your friends and relatives to open their wallets.

Hi Blacksix.  I'd always thought Maddox Games was developing the MMO.  Am I mistaken?  I didn't realise 777/1cGS were in on it  ;)

Hi! Earlier I worked in Maddox Games (although it's the wrong name for our sim department in 1C) and so I wrote "we developed MMO".

S!

Well in that screenshot it looks like an early series LaGG-3 as it has the MG bulges on the engine cowling.

Would be very disapointing to only have a winter season. Although it´s fun i can i understand the reasoning (see lower planes better)..over time it really gets annoying.

An MMO IL-2 Sturmovik game? I never heard of that, I always assumed the screenshots were from the abandoned BoM project.

Master

It's comments like this that drive flight sims only farther into the ground.

An MMO IL-2 Sturmovik game?

We've shown screenshots, but this project was never officially announced.
