Guest deleted@83466 Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Turkey trots to water. Where is, repeat, where is Task Force Thirty Four Jason? The World Wonders.
Guest deleted@83466 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Go figure, I can only communicate with Kintaro through WW2 metaphors. ?

oc2209 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 I was just watching Star Trek: TNG, and I remembered that Jason made some TNG references. And then... *sniff*... that time I won a free copy of Normandy by guessing what sim game he played in the 80s... And that time we were all guessing what airplane museum he was going to, and I thought he was going to Oklahoma, but I was wrong... And now he's just f***ing gone. And he's never coming back. (end scene)
oc2209 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 So, is @Wardog5711 the new Jason in terms of being the face of the game (to Western audiences, anyway)? The arrival of one is coterminous with the (apparent) departure of the other. Is this the really obvious bit that @Gambit21 was constantly mocking us for failing to notice? The new producer will probably be a Russian chess computer with little community interaction. Well, Wardog, I think now might be a good time to give away some free sh**. Not to me, I own everything except for the thrice-cursed P-40. But some kind of giveaway game would keep the pitchforks and torches lowered for a while.
Gambit21 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) Wardog is not the new Jason. I was poking fun at you guys for missing other things…namely one huge thing…stacked on other things. All painting a rather obvious picture when taken in totality. Edited October 25, 2022 by Gambit21

"one huge thing... stacked on other things"? "The prisoner ate a hearty breakfast..." 1

We're not allowed to talk about the real elephant in the room that is happening IRL.

It's been a good run and almost all the long term objectives for the sim have been achieved - it's in a great place overall no doubt. Having some insider information helped this call I won't lie ?
