Internal view in Mosquito totally screwed

Recommended Posts

When flying the Mosquito, my default view is turned 90° to the right. Impossible to make it coming back to 12 o'clock.

Any tip?

Thanks in advance

Use also the Numerical Keypad Nr. 5. It should reset the pilot center view.

Go to the game key settings and check the Pilot Head Menu.

Check the function (1): PILOT HEAD SNAP POSITION Center. It should be bound to the key: Numpad 5

If not then check what key is shown. If there is another key or key combination then try it and check that it does restore the center pilot head view.

If there is nothing displayed then register the key Numpad 5, and then test again this.

If it works then check the function (2): SAVE CURRENT CORRECTIONS IN HEAD SNAP POSITION. This should be bound to the key F10. Again if empty register key F10.

Now back in the game execute the function (1) and then function (2) which will definitively memorize the starting head position. Exit the mission and the start again and this time all should be fine.

Go into data/Luascript/snapviews and remove the moquitofbmkxi.svc (or make a backup and save it elsewhere). When you restart the game a new file is created by the game with the view set right, alternatively go into  the ...Luascript/ defaults folder and copy the one needed to the other folder.

Everything is set right but when I hit the Numpad5, the view go from 3 o’clock to approximately 1 1/2… If I hit the 5 again, then I go back to 3. And by the way I am on the copilot’s lap (with his arm around my left shoulder, what is the weirdest…. ?).

I’ll try the @FlyingH’s method if the F10 doesn’t work

That’s the only one plane that does it to me…
