I noticed this as well. I was hoping it was a sign lol. It would definitely be nice for the Allies to have a proper bomber. B-26 is my favorite medium bomber.

Is there any news about the B-25 becoming flyable eventually?

To make the B-26 flyable (as well as the B-25) you would have to build the cockpit for the Pilot and co-pilot, Bombardier/Nose Gunner, Top Gunner and Tail Gunner (possible waist gunners). That's at least 4 cockpits/stations that have to be made including a very detailed cockpit for the Pilot and co-pilot station. Although being made by a 3rd party team (who's also making FC2), it's been over a year since the cockpit for the C-47 started being made and it's still not flyable. That goes to show that making a cockpit like that takes longer than the cockpit for a single seat fighter.

You would also have to determine where the B-26 saw action other than in BoN and BoBP to make it flyable. Doing a quick search, Midway or a Sicily installment is where it could be made flyable.

Agree overall.

It was definitely used a lot in Normandy a lot, so definitely a good fit.

This unfortunately doesn't mean that it will be a thing although I very much hope that it will be at some point.

We've seen this previously with the C-47 and the B-25. The GUI is just setup to assume that anything you can't fly is something you don't own yet.

If the other planes are anything to go by then no bombardier or copilot position.

Yes, the A-20 is still lacking that :) Honestly, navigation and bomb aiming are so important for level bombers that it is probably more important than the pilot's position!

The He-111, Ju-88A4, and Pe-2 all share the same cockpit for both crewmembers - which helps. Same would be the case with a lot of other German bombers  (but less so with Russian, British, and American bombers).

It would be really nice to see some expansion of multicrew aircraft, to provide a navigator position, and to allow a second player to man that, along with the bombardier and gunner positions.  Even just a generic navigators station (similar to bombsights) with some additional map tools would be a really cool addition.

For Normandy, I'd settle for an A20 G with the solid nose and all those .50 Brownings.

It would fit right in, especially with Normandy out now. It'd be great if more third party devs would take a look at doing aircraft for this game series.  DCS and MSFS seem to be attracting all of them at the moment.

I'm more of a bomber boy than a dogfighter and I have been flying German and Russian bomber careers for years now. The American and British bomber careers are sadly lacking. I know the dev team has put in immense effort towards BoN and are likely taking a well deserved vacation but I can't help but hope for flyable B-24s, B-25s, and B-26s. I know there would be a large community that would purchase these aircraft. I hope we can hear soon whether it is something they are working towards.

I thought it was the B-25's that appeared on carrier, may want to consult with the Japanese.
