Among the IL-2 staff there is a strong team of engineers, and the guys will continue the work. I am sure that many interesting projects from 1C Game Studios await you. Sorry to see you go. Any other real pilots in the team apart from you?

And 16-15 years ago I was somewhere out there, in France, staying tuned to any potential news about the development of "Sikorsky Project", "Knights of the Sky"... both of them later merged into "Rise of Flight"... That latter is a master piece Andrey! Congratulations and Thank you! So, if you are coming to Bordeaux, France... Will we have a "Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 4"? ? 1

Hypertexthero Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 (edited) Andrey, thank you for all your work in helping to make the flight simulator with the best feeling of flying an airplane that I have ever played! I still have my original IL-2 box, bought in Italy in 2001, and it has been a pleasure to see it grow and become, to me, a work of cinematic flight art these past 20 years. (Update 2022-09-24: I am aware that it was a team lead by Oleg Maddox that created the original game, and wanted to add this note to avoid any confusion. These simulations are created by many hands, in the end!) I look forward to seeing what you work on next, and to future projects from the IL-2 developers, too! —Simon Edited September 24, 2022 by Hypertexthero Extra information 1
