Not at all. It never did work through target links, so we've removed them to avoid confusion. Complex trigger activates other MCUs through events from trigger's advanced settings.

Question , Why as my video of the death by concussion been removed? It would be nice to be informed if you take offence, or is it a case of "out of sight out of mind"

If you don't want feed back then please change the topic name ?

I suspect what we're seeing in Tank Crew (cannon shots randomly ricocheting and lack of damage effect from penetrating hits) is related to these two changes.

This changes relate only to terminal ballistics and internal damage. There are no random bounces added, richochets happen only when sloped armor is hit.

What rack, where? Please post a screenshot.

When using the reload action, after a gun jam, the gun is supposed to cycle through clearing the chamber and loading a new round.  When the button is pressed this action can be heard but is not shown on the screen.  The firing position does not change.

 

This is the primary gun (e.g. not the overhead machine gun) in the SE5a.

You posted it. We saw it. To avoid further arguing over the subject I hid it. They team can see all hidden posts. You've made your point and it has nothing to do with the 410 or Input Profiles. This is simply a long standing complaint and not a result of this update.

Finally tried the 410 this morning. The model is beautiful. Love the loadout options. Its stable, fast, and easy to fly. Low energy hard turn fights are NOT advisable though. When it gets slow, it gets "tippy" and easily drops a wing with too much elevator input. Stay FAST! The rear gunner compartment is a work of art, those big barbetts/turrets really pack a sting.

 

Overall, its EXACTLY what I expected.

 

Love it! Definitely worth the loooong wait!!

How does the hinged instrument panel blocking the nose glass function ?  Is this. Manually or solenoid operated ?   How to you swing this panel out of the way. When not carrying a bomb and opening bomb bay doors ?

 

I looked at this panel as good as I could move around. And see no control arm to operate.  Was it simply held in a position by the spring and detents for the 2 positions in the linkage ?

It's folded manually. In the game there is no separate command to fold it, it folds automatically when the bomb bay is open

Wingtip break, it breaks with Dive Breaks also on lower Dive Speeds

I enjoyed flying an online port strike mission in the Me410 yesterday. Great job team! 

 

Also, it's nice to see some mission editor updates. I did notice that the new ungroup recursive command does not appear when you right-click the group in the View Port. You have to right click the group in the Tree View.

Was looking around the 410's instruments last night, and could not find anything that looks like the fuel gauges I'm used to seeing in German aircraft.

Can someone point out where they are?

Custom input profiles are very much appreciated and I will put them to good use. Thanks for the addition of this feature

Excellent update. Nice to see that some improvements are made to the editor.

The Hornisse is really a very interesting plane, with many payload and gun combinations. 

When using the 8 bombs load, I was disappointed to see that only 4 craters remain. I really hope that this limitation that we carry for 9 years now goes away and we get all the craters according to bombs and their sizes, with the upcoming BON release.

It'd be nice to have that as a separate bind someday! Maybe one of the gunsight keys could be used? It'd be nice for landings etc.

 

Also I'm getting a lot of aileron rod jams (and wingtip losses) due to over-speeding (I think?) It seems to be happening a lot though. There is also a minor LoD issue with the bomb bay from some angles (when open).

 

 

 

I've found spinning the Me-410 to be a lot of fun (and the 50mm is more fun than I expected). Still a bit disappointed by not being able to select gunsights (and a bit annoyed by not having separate view presets for each gunsight). But pretty happy!

I take it that this doesn't apply to most weapons? I've tried firing excessively long bursts with the M2 machine gun on the P-47 and I've yet to have a misfire.

 

It'd be pretty great if there was a small chance to lose a wing gun to a misfire if we abused it too much... it certainly happened historically and caused pilots to limit burst lengths when they could!

Double check to make sure navigation markers are checked under realism.

Awesome update and the Me 410 is great!

 

Got a question regarding the BZA of the Me 410. When i made a bombing run with the BZA I didn´t see the CCIP or "Pipper", which show´s the computed bomb impact point. So I´m wondering, if the BZA of the Me 410 don´t have an CCIP/Pipper like the Ar 234 or what I´m doing wrong. I´m talking about this mark:

I do not find the new command Recursive Ungroup in the Editor.

There is the normal Ungroup when clicking right on a group, but it will ungroup only the first level and not the sub-groups.

@Falcon41, it may be that your Navigation markers option is either unchecked in the Quick Mission builder or the Missions selection screen, or the option is not available in a particular multiplayer server.

 

In the Quick Mission builder or the Missions selection screen do the following:

1. Click on the Realism button.

2. On the left, select Custom.

    The Normal option has Navigation markers selected by default and the Expert option does not (as far as I know).

3. Select the Navigation markers option.

What I find interesting - I can use Lshift+D to fold/unfold it. I can also use Lalt+B (my bomb bay bind) to fold/unfold it.

 

So it currently has two binds - a gunsight and a bombbay bind - however the animations are still linked and both binds to both actions... (i.e. if I use the Lshift+D it opens the bomb-bay).

It's there.

 

You won't see it if you fly parallel to the ground but it will come up as soon as you enter a dive and start getting closer to the ground.

Here, right click a group in the tree, but what does it do?

The gunsights are like that (in terms of not being able to select which one you want), because that's how the planes were built according to original charts from the time. That is, only planes built as fast bombers received the StuVi sight, etc.

If you move your camera position upwards a bit it should make it easier to see the bomb release marker.

It's there.

 

Move your viewpoint up or if using TrackIR/VR...sit up in your seat. Eventually the angle will align with the mark.

Jim TM,

     I checked my Realism setting and the Navigation marker was checked.  The waypoints all show, it's just that the black "my plane silhouette" doesn't show up nor do the blue wingmen on the map.  Interestingly enough on other similar missions I have no problem with the in cockpit map, which leads me to believe it may be the mission itself.
