Is there any way to see what campaigns/collector items/etc not in my library?

Whenever I check the store, I have a hard time telling what I have, and what I don't yet have.

Is there some kind of 'at a glance' page or app to see what available purchases aren't already part of my collection?

Yes, that shows me what I HAVE. It doesn't help me find what I don't have.

[edit] Seems like a good opportunity for 1C to make it easier for me to give them money.

Well, just look at what you've got and the stuff that's in the store that you see that you don't have is what you haven't got...
How hard is that?

It is tedious and annoying, especially when I already have dozens of collectors planes scattered across all the different packages.

I can go into the store, click on each collector plane one at a time and add it in the cart.

When I go into the cart, I can see that the ones I already own are marked with a conflict. So the 'system' already knows what I own and what I don't.

So why can't the system show me what is available for me to purchase without having to go through all that hassle?

I am literally asking 1C to make it easier for me to find ways to give them money. Seems worthwhile, no?

I know what you mean bucky. Rise Of Flight used to grey-out purchased planes so you could see what you still had to get.

1st rule of marketing.. direct the customer to part with their dosh as quickly as possible !

Agree.

It was actually reasonably painstaking to try to work out which planes I own and which I don't when firing up PWCG for BoS again recently.

That is EXACTLY what made me come here and post. I just installed PWCG for the first time and trying to answer which planes I owned was a hairpulling exercise.

Make a list.

Perhaps, just perhaps y'all should be able to remember which planes/vehicles you had already parted with your hard-earned money for. That's all I'm saying.

Jeez! I'm 60 and I can remember, even though my brain is something akin to a slightly larg(er) raisin!!

 :scratch_one-s_head:

NB Don't get me wrong, it's not that I think it's a bad idea per se (like @Zooropa_Fly said, in RoF with greying out) but it's hardly a deal-breaker

Am I not being clear?

I know how to find out what I already HAVE. It isn't a mystery to me.

What I cannot do is look at a list of 57* collectors planes and know, off hand, which ones I already have and which ones I don't. What campaign pre-orders are available I haven't purchased? How about vehicles? Are there ones I don't own, that I can own? I can't answer that question without spending at least 20 minutes poking around the store and seeing what happens when I add stuff to my cart.

1C DOES know what they sell that I don't own. Why don't they show me?

* I know there aren't 57 collector's planes, but there are a lot, and I don't know every single variation that is in my library, esp the German 109 varieties.

My silly way is adding them all to the cart, the ones that don't say "a key only product" or something to that extent are the ones I don't own.

Then why in ***** name can't you work it out from there then? If you  know you've GOT it then why on earth would you have to get it again just in case you didn't have it?

It's okay, I'm just winding you up.

I can see your point, of course. It just seems like, well, a bit of a trifling thing if you KNOW what you've got is all...

@ghbucky FWIW: I think you're right. I've been asking this a couple of years back on another forum where the devs were active. ROF had it, GB does not.

I have no idea if it is difficult to implement, but I sure hope they do it. In the store are so many things to purchase. Do I have this plane or not? Order it and then find out in the basket. It should be easier.

Yeah, would really be a shame if a qol feature would make it into the store .. ?

Not a perfect answer:

But in game. Choose Quick Mission. When selecting an aircraft it will show you ALL the possible aircraft. Ones you don't have will be greyed out.

Yes it would be great to show this on some sort of web store.

The easiest way is to just buy everything twice just to make sure.

This is also the only method if you purchase from both Steam and the official site.

Also, check the Scripted Campaigns tab for 'locked' campaigns. That will indicate which paid campaigns you don't own (obviously) but there are also free campaigns that are locked if you don't own the supporting content.

Finally, look at the red campaign banners on the main hangar screen. It shows the primary content you own, but you'll have to reverse engineer the list to deduce what you don't own. The full list is:

- Battle of Stalingrad

- Battle of Moscow

- Battle of Kuban

- Battle of Bodenplatte

- Battle of Normandy

- Tank Crew

- Flying Circus Vol 1

- Flying Circus Vol 2

Maybe not in that order or with those exact names, but that's the gist.
