lwalter Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Since the update with the Mosquito, I can no longer launch IL2. The loading bar fills normally until the end and then I get an error message: #10005: Please update your game: new version available Then, nothing. It's stuck on the launch screen. I'm using the Steam version of the base game and usually Steam keeps the game up to date. So I don't understand why I get this update issue. Note also that I bought Battle of Normandy directly from the IL2 store. I don't know if that could explain the issue ? Please help, because I was eagerly expecting the Mosquito, and now, no Mosquito and no IL2 Great Battles at all!
Drum Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 (edited) Go into Steam and right click on the IL-2 game in your list > choose properties > local files > verify integrity of game files. That should replace any missing files, plus you may need to do that twice so they download the second time around. Also, you'll need to link your IL-2 store purchase with Steam if you haven't done so already. Directions to do that are in your IL-2 account page. Edited June 5, 2022 by Drum 1
