[DBS]Tx_Tip Posted March 7, 2024 Author Posted March 7, 2024 There's a Yak-3 on the way you say? Thinking it's basically mandatory to include the iconic aircraft within this campaign highlighting the Normandie-Neiman, n'est-ce pas? If you haven't flown this campaign then you should. Yak-1B and Yak-9T on the Moscow Map. C'est bon. 1
Vishnu Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Fantastic Campaign!! A very lovely tribute to the French forces in the USSR. The French chatter was spot on and definitely added to the atmosphere. I highly recommend this campaign! 1
Ulricus Posted May 25 Posted May 25 (edited) @[DBS]Tx_Tip, After watching YouTube docs about the Yak Fighter development, I wanted to check out the FM of Yak 1B and Yak 9T. After getting used to them (Requiem & Flight School), I started your campaign, which was an excellent choice. Quite impressive immersive moments, not only in dog fights, even flying in formation. Navigation was fine and adapted to the current status of the mission. And the best part is the French voices on the radio, which added brilliantly to the immersive effects (and IMHO this pioneer mod paved the way for further use, as in Gestapo Hunter). It was nice to try out the different qualities of the Yak Fighters: an agile 1B, light and maneuverable, and then the 9T with the powerful cannon – formidable! I like your style in mission creation: lots of secondary objectives, ingress and egress points, etc., which create a dense atmosphere. Combined with the French voices, this resulted in high levels of immersion - up to the campaign ending!!! Thx for this campaign! Edited June 1 by Ulricus 1
[DBS]Tx_Tip Posted June 4 Author Posted June 4 Certainly, appreciate the posts @Ulricus and @Vishnu. Right on the mark. Creating the dense atmosphere as you mention. Personally, getting up to speed with the Yaks and learn other aircraft for myself help with creating well-made campaigns for a great time. Thanks again, Tx_Tip 1
Devil5O5 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I started playing your campaign a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it. I just wish there were subtitles for all the French dialogue and not just some of the commands. 1
[DBS]Tx_Tip Posted June 18 Author Posted June 18 Appreciate the post Devil505. Either too much or not enough or just right. Still enjoy playing this one now and then with very interesting mission techniques for such immersion. Have a great time with the campaign, Tx_Tip
