Salute

Been working quite a while on this and thought I would show some of the ideas i have put into the upcoming Battle Arras Campaign which is a dogfight map for a match between the DangerDogz and the 352nd.

That looks great...nice job.

Have you considered adding a player-interactive air support option? Whereby the player can, when certain conditions are met (rather then just any ol random time) call for friendly air support? We don't have a "wait player input" option like DCS has (extremely useful and a crying shame that we don't have it here still) but we can use the 'fire flare' and a complex trigger to obtain the same result.

So the player fires a flare, and this then triggers whatever logic you have piped into it...this this case maybe a radio message and a flight of friendly aircraft that provides cover, or attacks a target or target area that you've designated etc.

I've always wanted to add this functionality in generally, but I've never been successful in getting a player input trigger implemented in the editor.

The missions are designed to have human air support as well as the tanks so tactics will play a big part, e.g get planes to take out bridges to slow down an advance.

As this has been designed as an inter squad event, both sides will be on their own comms channel so calling for backup will be easy and not require any other triggers.

Got it.

I wasn’t sure if you had AI running around or not - but makes sense that you don’t.
