Sketch Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Problem: Player driven Flak vehicles do no damage to Static Tanks, but can do damage to other static entities. Test: I created a mission where there's static tanks with the durability value of 500. I setup not only onDestroyed events but also onDamaged events for both Static Tanks and other Static entities. When I shoot the static tanks with a player driven AAA vehicle, the player driven flak vehicle does no damage to Static Tanks, but will do damage to other Static Entities. To confirm that my logic is correct (it's very simple logic to be honest), I used a Sherman tank shell to damage the Static Tank and other Static Entities. The Sherman tank, as a control, destroys both the Static Tank and the Other Static Entity easily. I've also made a video here: Mission File: Combat-Box-Training-and-Dogfight.zip You're looking for the Tank Target Range group
DD_Friar Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Salute @Sketch Did I see in the video you have the editor open AND the game at the same time? I thought that was not possible? Cheers Friar.

I thought that was not possible? Cheers Friar. Very possible... Supported? Absolutely not. Causes problems for your mission if you try to edit the mission while the mission is open in the game? Yes, and it sucks. Don't do it unless you know what you're doing breaking. Edited March 5, 2022 by Sketch 1
ChicagoChad_VR Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Sketch - I was talking about this months ago when using the 37mm cannon vs static tanks - you get a white puff and no damage. However if the tanks are moving I can kill them with 2 - 6 hits. I verified this with all weapons - including the PTAB bomblets, 37mm, ect. All seem to have no effect, and white "puff".
