SOB_Looper Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 I guess my question is not clear. In the Finnish server, What are the rules regarding shooting of flyers in their chute??
oc2209 Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 (edited) @56RAF_Roblex already answered your question in your first thread. The Finnish rules, according to the segment he quoted, state that 'chute killing is not allowed immediately after the pilot leaves the plane. If you don't exit (the mission, whatever) after approximately 30 seconds, you then become a legitimate target again. If you were hanging around for, by your own account, a few minutes, then you were 100% a fair target according to server rules. Edited February 28, 2022 by oc2209
69th_Mobile_BBQ Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 I also answered your 2 other threads. If you want to make sure, go ask the admins of the FVP server thread and stop spamming redundant threads. 1
56RAF_Roblex Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 (edited) If you want it put in general terms. The shooter must first give you ample time for your chute to open then for you to find your escape key (can be fiddly if he is in VR) and click for the mission to be finished and for the 10 seconds countdown of mission finish to happen. OC2209 is probably right in saying that is about 30 seconds. If you are still floating in your parachute beyond 30-40 seconds then the shooter is allowed to assume that you are giving intel to your squadmates on what he is doing eg "The second 190 is going after the bombers. ", "Break! There is a 109 diving on you!" If you get killed during the bail out animation or his plane accidentally hits your chute in the first few seconds after it opens then no crime has been committed. All the above also applies to crash-landed pilots eg anyone who crash-lands and 30 seconds after coming to a stop is still sitting in his aircraft and not finishing his mission is considered a fair target. MisterSmith Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Asked and answered. Intentional redundant threads is a violation of Rule 9. No bans for the moment but Looper take notice. I am locking the other versions of this topic.
SOB_Looper Posted February 28, 2022 Author Posted February 28, 2022 Noted, Thanks. Was trying to get a direct and accurate answer.
