shirazjohn Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 (edited) Hi guys thought i would show a photo of the last ever plane my dad built before he passed away 5 years ago. I don't think its flown for perhaps 20 years it's been up in his loft ever since. I was thinking of repairing it and flying it myself but i don't really have the time so probably going to sell but not sure if there is any value in these old models. Anyone in the uk know if these old models have any value or where/how i would go about selling something like this. Spoiler Edited February 11, 2022 by shirazjohn 2 1 1
ZachariasX Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 It is a pretty model and it has certainly sentimental value.

Yes it has alot of sentimental value but It'll probably end up in my loft till i pop my clogs. Would be nice if someone got it flying again and had fun with it.
Lusekofte Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 That is a cool plane. It would take me a nanosecond to transform it to powder if I got my hands on it. My mind is like. Oh cool I better learn to fly it, but first a little joy ride 1

Not sure of what it might sell for but maybe have a look for a local RC club to see if they could make use of it? 1 1

I did wonder about Rc clubs myself there are a couple in my area, as for value if it goes to the right home it doesn't matter to much (anything towards a new gpu would help). I ought to have a go at repairing and flying myself but I'm sure my first flight will end in tears. I remember how many of planes my dad smashed over the years and he new what he was doing. 1
timothy55 Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 No , somehow make arrangements to keep it and through it think of your dad. In the years to come the sentimental value may be such that you were glad you did. 2 1 1
