"Tigers in the mud"

I start again with a new project of mini-series. After the "big show" from Pierre Clostermann, and "Stuka pilot" from H.U. Rudel, I forget warbirds  to focus on tanks. The book from Otto Carius who fought on the eastern front as a tiger commander is very detailled and rich in anecdotes of all kinds. I hope you will appreciate...

Really enjoying this series, very well made and good, believable action. As a flyboy it is great to see what can be achieved on the ground in this sim

Many thanks, Kev, for your comment. Our favorite sim needs some improvements, by example when tanks attack by night with their lights ?

Otto Carius is back.

March 1944. Still on the defensive, the Axis troops expect an imminent offensive. From his position, O. Carius is preparing for the worst. Isolated, with 2 inoperative tigers and a small group of infantry, the fight seems unequal...

April 44.
On the Eastern Front, the Wermacht came under pressure from the Red Army. O. Carius and his group of Tiger tanks participate in a counter-attack to relieve the lines of defense. This is "Operation Strachwitz"...

Good viewing.

On the Eastern front, the German army continued its retreat; after having abandoned Smolensk then Minsk, Carius and his Tigers are in the region of Vilnius. The Wehrmacht makes the best use of its Panzers to reduce the pressure on its defense lines. But without air support, the successes are not sustainable...

July 1944, Latvia.

Wehrmacht is still under pressure. Otto Carius and his group of Tigers are looking for one more success. Could it be the last one?
