Yuketobania Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 I brought IL-2 Stalingrad on steam, but I can't start game normally because When I log in, the game shows my key is not activated, and I didn't find any key in Steam's menu. I tried to my steam account logged in the website and it shows me I didn't have any key activated. Can anybody help me?

Should you have any questions about the Great Battles series, please click on the correct navigation tab in the present forums, you'll see it easily. Other than that, you won't activate any of your Great Battles modules on the Steam service, this is something you'll need to do on the il2sturmovik.com website. The path and procedure is il2sturmovik.com -> login -> profile -> License keys ?

Thank you for your reply ,but sadly, this issue still occur : ( I just brought the "Battle of Bodenplatte" DLC and hoping it will give me any key I can activate. but it gives me nothing ,among with those DLC and Battle of Stalingard itself : ( I already read the guide and linked my Steam account to this website, due to there's no any activation key for me, there's some technical problem or glitch, I assaume? The same problem still occur. When I log into the game, the "Steam Login" Screen appears. When I press Login online, It says "Licence Key not activated." When I choose "Login Offline", it says "new version available". but I downloaded it just few days ago, it can't be so quickly to be outdated. I'm pretty confused now, for the problem still occor : (

You need to go to the IL-2 Sturmovik website and and, then, activate your product key on the website only https://il2sturmovik.com/ -> login -> profile -> License keys The login you'll use is the same login you are using in the forums.
Drum Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 In the pop up window of the above picture you posted showing your DLC, on the left column where it says "Local Files", go in there and press the "check files Integrity" (or similar) and let it check your install to make sure you aren't missing a few piles from your first Stalingrad download. If so it will download the missing files for you.

Sorry pal, I get what you mean, but the key question here is: I bought this game and those DLC, but it didn't give me any key : ( I can't activate it unless there's a solution to find out where these key are : ( the reason I mention Steam is because I bought the game on it, and It didn't give me a key to activate, and "Login via Steam" is the only way when I start the game. And due to Steam's support pages, they are not responsible for key problems, and that's why I asked my question on this official fourm : ( According to Mr.Drum's suggestion, I checked my local file's intergrity, there's no file missing. so the problem definitely not comes from file missing or corruption.
343KKT_Kintaro Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 In such case, I think you need a proof of payment, you must have one. Contact the Steam staff, show your proof, and tell them you simply are looking for your game 1

Thanks for your reply pal I verified the integrity of my local game files, it didn't find any file missing. and the problem still occur when I used a official game installer downloaded from games homepage : ( I bought this game on Steam, but it didn't gives me any activation key, (usually formed like :XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX style, and they are hard to miss because they are in a pop-up menu when the game's first start), maybe the problem comes from here?
Drum Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 (edited) When you buy an item from Steam, you do not have to activate it as it's automatically active just like every other game you purchased from Steam. Now that you've linked both accounts (Steam/IL-2) together, everything you buy from either store will work together perfectly even though you will never see your purchases from Steam on your IL-2's account and likewise your Steam account will never show the purchases you later get from the IL-2's store. You will only see the activation keys for those items bought directly from the IL-2 store within your IL-2's account, but they will automatically link/activate themselves with your Steam account even though they will never be seen within your Steam account and vise versa is true with purchases from Steam. Why "Battle of Stalingrad" isn't working is a Steam problem only and you will need to get Steam's help, Yuketobania. Edited January 6, 2022 by Drum
